Being at school every day on time is very, very important. Olive St. Elementary School is rewarding students who have perfect attendance with fun incentives. Attendance is encouraged because students learn new things while at school keep the brain growing!

The first quarter of school is over and 217 scholars at Olive St. Elementary received the perfect attendance award! They also received an amazing trip to Galaxy Theaters in Porterville to watch the new movie “Abominable.” This was really encouraging and got tons of students excited and eager to continue to go to school every day, all day!

While interviewing students who met the goal, 5th-grader, Daniela Alvarez from Mrs. Fletcher’s class stated that the reward was fun in that they got to leave campus and go to an actual theater. She also stated that Abominable the movie was great and it made her feel emotional. She also stated that she got perfect attendance by being here at school every day, all day and on time!

Also interviewed, Roberto Sanchez, a 6th grader in Mrs. Nicholls's class, shared that he thought the movie was great. Just like Daniela, Roberto said that he received perfect attendance by trying his best to be at school every day and all day.

Let's continue to be at school every day, all day, Olive scholars!
