School Information

Olive Street Elementary is on a traditional school year schedule. There are 180 school days scheduled for the year.

• 8:30 am–2:45 pm Grades TK–3 
• 8:30 am–3:30 pm Grades 4–6

• 8:30 - 1:45 pm Grades TK - 6

Breakfast is served in the classroom. 

Children should arrive no earlier than 7:30 am to ensure proper supervision. At dismissal we expect all children to go home promptly unless arrangements have been made with their teacher.

Students arriving late must report to the school office to sign-in before entering class.

When your child is absent, please call the school office or send a note explaining you child’s absence. Please list the date absent, your child’s full name, and reason of absence. Excessive absences and tardies will be referred to the School Attendance Review Board (SARB) for action.
